Invasive Species Management

Invasive species can change community structure, composition, and ecosystem processes on our forest lands in ways that may not be anticipated or desirable. Careful management can minimize these negative impacts.  Management options for control may include biological, chemical, manual, and mechanical techniques, as well as controlled burning.  Most common invasive species we tackle include Asian bush honeysuckle, Autumn olive, Burning bush, Wisteria, Multiflora rose, Bittersweet, Japanese honeysuckle, and Tree of Heaven.  Our services include:

  • Identification of invasive species
  • Management planning
  • Control and maintenance
